I’ve noticed recently that my diet has changed a little bit since becoming a father, especially in the area of snacks in the past 6-8 months. Here’s a list of things I now eat on a regular basis that I never used to eat with any consistency…

  1. Cheerios
  2. Pretzels
  3. Animal Crackers
  4. Flavor-Ice
  5. Goldfish Crackers
  6. Fruit Snacks

Kinda wished I had some animal crackers right now.

Shameless Plug

We have a few leftover t-shirts at church so I decided to grab 3 and work on a little publicity photo the other day! I looked and looked for the 3 cutest kids I could find and here are the results…

Look for these photos in an upcoming KiDS COR Brochure!

Happy Birthday Fellas

Today is the 1st birthday of my 3 boys. So let me send a shout out to Jackson, Tyler, & Chase. Happy Birthday boys!!

We’re Baaaaaaaack!!

Like Brett Favre, we have returned! Our week of visiting family in New England was full of great moments. To get all the details of our trip check out my wife’s blog. However, I would like to take a moment to thank all the strangers who helped us along the way. Here’s a short list of people I would like to give a shout out to…

  1. The employees of the Glow Airport Parking group at Kansas City Airport.
  2. The passenger who sat in 8d on our flight to Boston.
  3. The employees of the Hertz rental car return station in Boston, Massachusetts.
  4. The flight crew of Midwest Airlines flight #62 from Boston to Kansas City.
  5. The guy who rode on the shuttle bus on our way to pick up our car.
  6. The inventor of Cheerios! Without you our trip would have been a bit more difficult.

Goin’ On Tour

Today my wife Helen, my 3 boys (Jackson, Tyler, & Chase), and myself head to New England to visit family for the first time! Many of our family members have yet to see the boys in person. The boys are almost one year old so it should be exciting for everyone. Our trip should be full of adventure as we attempt to travel with our triplet boys by plane and rental car. Perhaps I’ll have a story or 2 share once we return. Right now I’m looking at all the stuff we are traveling with and all I can say is…”Wow! That is a lot of luggage!”

Happy 4th of July everyone!!

Am I really a techie? Mark Cuban Says NO!

Hello Bloggers!

Today I complete the magical transformation of becoming a blogger! Thanks to the help of Andrew Conard I learned the basic steps in creating a blog and even created my own blog address. This has been one wild month for me. In the past 4-6 weeks I have created my own facebook page, you tube page, and now a blog. I felt so un-techie, but now I feel like I’m getting close to being cutting edge. However, my cutting edge feeling left me about 2 weeks ago as I was driving to the airport. I was listening to Bob Costas’ radio show which can be good, but seems to spend a lot of time talking baseball and I mean A LOT of time. This evening his guest was Mark Cuban (Owner of the NBA Franchise Dallas Mavericks) who in my mind is a pretty smart dude with a pretty good business sense. For a few moments blogging was the topic between Costas & Cuban. As the conversation continued Mark Cuban made the statement that blogging has been around for a while and it’s an old way of communicating. Mark Cuban has now moved on to looking for the next cutting edge way to communicate. These are not his exact words but you get the idea. Anyways after listening to this conversation I felt even more out of it, but I have recovered from that sense of pity for myself and decided that I will push on and become a blogger no matter what Mark Cuban says.

My hope for this blog is too post my thoughts about Kids Cor, Children’s Ministry, life, and any other random things that enter my head so I hope you enjoy and perhaps we will meet soon in the world wide web.

Everything here represents my own opinion and not the opinion of The United Methodist Church of The Resurrection or The United Methodist Church. It's purely my own random thoughts.
